ATV Paddle Tires

Varied Uses for ATV Paddle Tires

If you enjoy riding in the sand, you'll want to research an ATV paddle tire. Their strange design looks like a smooth balloon with a few horizontal treads running across the tire and makes them very recognizable. The treads function like paddles giving them their name. Paddle tires are meant only for the sand and using them on other terrain can damage them.

Examples of ATV paddle tires are the Gecko V Paddle Rear Tire, the Sand Shark Paddle Rear Tire, Sand Skate II Sand Paddle Kit, the GBC Shark Fin Paddle, GBC Dune Paddle Trakker, Kenda Dune Runner Paddle Tire, and Sand Gear Paddle Tire.

Gecko V Paddle Rear Tire

The lightweight design of the Kenda Gecko V Paddle tire will provide ultimate performance. The beefy tread provides stability and handling and there is little effort needed when climbing sand or other terrain. They are reasonably price and perfect for fun or competition.

Sand Shark Paddle

The Sand Shark Paddle tire offers some amazing handling capabilities. You can turn on a dime or get some great bite on the straight and narrow. These tires have a 2 ply rating so they are soft and pliable and although perhaps not as puncture resistant, they are a great choice for play.

Sand Skate II Sand Paddle Kit

Choose from a front or rear Sand Skate II Sand Paddle Kit to get excellent climbing power. They will keep you moving even in the softest sand. The deep angled paddles are left- and- right specific and the 4 ply construction makes this a rugged and durable tire that's not prone to puncture.

The Sand Gear Paddle tire is suitable for an aggressive ride that includes jumps. And it is a great choice for competitions especially for the rider that is serious about winning. This light weight design uses revolutionary technology and the unique tread does not require left or right specific tires. These paddles will give you maximum climbing power.

GBC Shark Fin Paddle

On the other hand, the GBC ATV tires such as the GBC Shark Fin Paddle and the GBC Dune Paddle Trakker, offers unique features not present in any tire made for sand. The GBC shark fin is a sport sand paddle tire that gives you predictable steering, stability, and great sand traction. It has been on the market long enough to have a proven track record and it is a great choice for affordability and reliability.

The GBC Dune Paddle Trakker offers centerline vertical knobs for exceptional steering especially in those tight corners. The wide body gives you terrific floating ability and the overall performance of this tire is unmatched. Not only is this tire so hot to play with, it's reliable and it won't let you down. Climb, race, have a great time as you float across the sand.

Kenda Dune Runner Paddle Tire

Kenda Dune Runner Paddle Tire provides a classic sand tire for the front of your ATV. It has a reinforced rib that provides improved steering and will cut through the sand with little effort. This popular fin design has been copied over and over by many other manufacturers - and there is a reason that others are copying it - it is a great paddle tire that won't let you down. The Kenda Dune Runner got a perfect 5 star mark by a client who bought this item from a motor shop.

There are several online retailers that offer these tires and reasonable prices. Be sure to learn more about ATV mud tires before buying. Prices can range from $40 up to $100 depending on your needs.

My advice for customers is to research, research and research ATV tires and wheels that guarantee quality at a reasonable pricing. Also be cautions on getting something that's too good to be true. It probably is.

Tip of the day:

If you get stuck in the mud, don't continue to spin the wheels in hopes of getting unstuck. Find rocks or gravel and put it near the wheel and try to rock the car out by pressing gently on the gas, then releasing.
